I have returned

And though they tell you I am lost
And their words report my death is come
The fates have left me breathing still
Very much alive

And though my mind is scarred by battles
Fought so long ago
I return victorious
I am coming home
And though the path that I have traveled
Have tread against the flow
There is no need for sorrow
I am coming home.

The reports of my death? Slightly exaggerated.

After driving a nice solid 12 hours....

Packing a sedan to the brim with stuff....

Being nearly driving off the road by bad drivers in Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania....

I am pleased....

Excited....

Exhausted....

To announce that I have come home to my beloved New York.

But I still hate Mayor DiBlasio. He raised the tolls again just to get into the freaking city. Screw that guy. With a flaming hot poker.

... And crap, I need a radio show on Sunday, don't I? Dang it...

While I work that out, have some music to celebrate my return.
