Guess what I tripped over on YouTube lately.
Movie night is BACK.
But if you don't have time for a movie, here, have a new review of Codename: Winterborn.
This blog tracks the epic of kick-starting a whole writing career, with spies and thrillers, now saints and vampires. I cover the creative process, stuff that blows up, history, philosophy, and theology. If you like any or all of the above, you'll like this one. We talk about comic books, movies, music, and writing. Usually, all at the same time. [Note: All Amazon links here are associate links. Which means nothing to you, but it means Declan Finn gets a few pennies for the sale. Thank you.]
I discovered the novels because o the A&E show. Good times when A&E was not producing crap. Nero Wolfe and Horatio Hornblower were exceptional.
ReplyDeleteI have bee slowly going through the novels as they come on sale, about a dozen so far. You don't read the books for the mysteries, but for the character interactions. Plus I just love Stout's vocabulary - making me run to a dictionary - just as Archie does.
