Movie Night: The Doorbell Rang (Nero Wolfe)

I am a fan of Rex Stout's original novels, the A&E show they had broadcast a few years ago, and of Timothy Hutton.

Guess what I tripped over on YouTube lately.

Movie night is BACK.

But if you don't have time for a movie, here, have a new review of Codename: Winterborn.

  1. I discovered the novels because o the A&E show. Good times when A&E was not producing crap. Nero Wolfe and Horatio Hornblower were exceptional.

I have bee slowly going through the novels as they come on sale, about a dozen so far. You don't read the books for the mysteries, but for the character interactions. Plus I just love Stout's vocabulary - making me run to a dictionary - just as Archie does.
