Still better than the film.
This blog tracks the epic of kick-starting a whole writing career, with spies and thrillers, now saints and vampires. I cover the creative process, stuff that blows up, history, philosophy, and theology. If you like any or all of the above, you'll like this one. We talk about comic books, movies, music, and writing. Usually, all at the same time. [Note: All Amazon links here are associate links. Which means nothing to you, but it means Declan Finn gets a few pennies for the sale. Thank you.]

If 1/10th of the character in this short snippet ever made it into an actual Batman and Superman high budget, live action film, it would be the top grossing film of all time and it would hold that record for a decade.

This would be so much better than that stuff they throw on the big screen.
ReplyDeleteHoly mackerel, I haven't actually teared up at anything I've read in a comic-book format since, like, ever. Until now.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I really did enjoy BvS: Dawn of Justice. But you have to watch the extended version on Blu-Ray to enjoy the character development.
ReplyDeleteWow. Who's the writer? His other stuff would be worth tracking down.
ReplyDeleteA fellow named Tom King. Batman #36
